Dodge Tomahawk

 2
This monster is power hungry, no doubt about that. This abomination of the road features an 8.3 liter V10 (505 cubic inches) that is capable of bringing a top speed of 420 mph! They estimate at 420 mph though no one has actually floored it they wouldn't be able to hold on. The bike weighs in at 1500 lbs, making it heavy enough to keep you intact at extreme speeds. The bike boasts independent 4 wheel suspension that will keep you safe on rougher terrain, and it’s shiny metallic cover which is accented by blue and red trim looks space like to say the least!

2006 Peugeot 908 RC

The reason of a concept car is to explore new ideas and to test the ideas in an attempt to create the ultimate solution. Know-how and passion, combined with imagination, then become the motive force that turns the dream into reality. A dream that can be shared through the creation of a unique vehicle such as the Peugeot 908 RC.

The 908 RC owes its name to its engine: the Peugeot V12 HDi DPFS, which will power the racing version of the 908 in 2007. The abbreviation 'RC', used to designate sports models in the Peugeot range, also refers to the RC and RC which made their appearance in 2002 and whose architecture served as an inspiration during the design of this innovative project.

Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Gullwing

The successor to the Mercedes Benz SL Gullwing has been spotted in prototype form in and around Germany’s Nurburgring test circuit for several months now, but what only a select few knew is that the car is being developed completely in-house by Mercedes’ official tuner, AMG. Thus, the brand new model will be called the SLS AMG when it hits showrooms in the first half of next year.

In the lead up to its final unveiling, planned for later this year, Mercedes has released a ton of info on the car, including several images of actual prototypes and technical drawings. As the successor to the legendary SL Gullwing from the 1950s, the new SLS AMG will also feature gullwing doors but picks up a new aluminum spaceframe to provide an almost perfect front-to-rear weight distribution of 48-to-52%.

Powering the SLS will be a revised version of AMG’s now-familiar 6.2L V8 mated to an all-new 7-speed dual-clutch transmission mounted on the rear axle. Peak output will stand at 571hp (420kW) and 479lb-ft (650Nm) of torque. Changes to the engine include a new magnesium intake with eight separate velocity stacks, two electronically controlled throttle plates, a high-flow exhaust and a new dry-sump lubrication system.

1999 Lamborghini Diablo GT

In 1999, Lamborghini fans got a pleasant surprise when the Diablo GT was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. It combined the modifications of the GT2 race car with the outrageousness of the Diablo to offer serious road racing performance. So much so, it remains as the fastest road-going Diablo ever made by the factory. At the time of delivery in September 1999, the Diablo GT was also one of the fastest supercars as well, reaching a top speed of 215 mph (346 kph).

What set the GT apart from the Diablos before it was a comprehensive list of upgrades which included a larger V12 engine and a radical carbon fibre body. This meant the GT was lighter, faster and had better road-handling than all other Diablos.

Top 10 Fast & Furious Cars

Apparently there’s still gas in the tank for the The Fast and the Furious franchise. Fast & Furious, the fourth installment, lived up to its name, at least from a box office perspective, quickly separating moviegoers from $72.5 million of their money. That not only marks the highest rossing car themed flick opener (2006’s Cars was $60.1 million), it’s also the biggest April debut ever (2003’s painful Anger Management brought $42.2 million).
`

Don’t credit plot depth, fine acting or a profound script for filling the seats. It was and always has been the Fast & Furious cars. Like a certain other film genre that indulges our proclivities, you’re better off skipping the dialogue and focusing on the action. Here are some of our favorite performers, the top 10 Fast & Furious cars. So we'll start with No.10:

Bugatti Veyron Vs McLaren F1

It's a fantasy race spawning tens-of-thousands of auto fan-boy arguments: Which super car wins in a balls-out drag race - the Bugatti Veyron or the McLaren F1? Top Gear found out last night. Now it's our turn below.

Behind the wheel of the 1001 horsepower Bugatti Veyron: Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond.  Behind the wheel of the 627 horsepower McLaren F1: The Stig.  The race took place on a very dry, closed stretch of road in Abu Dhabi. If you just look at the power figures, you might think that the Veyron would outright crush the F1.  However, the F1 weighs significantly less than the Veyron, roughly 1651 lbs. (749 kg)

So which wins? the 1001 HP Bugatti Veyron with all the techie bells and whistles? Or the 627 HP McLaren F1 thanks to a 1,500 lb lower weight?
